These sculptures aim to explore the idea of the allusion of a vessel or pot. The ‘hollowed out’ shape of the sculpture creates a negative space which shows the profile of an imagined pot. This ‘outline’ of clay becomes a metaphor of a pot which either may have existed or could be made.
